I have not played the game but I know enough about her. She is a evil creature who takes over the body of princess peach (though technically she could do it to anyone really, peach just happened to be the closest). She tries to take over the world and spread darkness over the mushroom kingdom until she gets sealed off behind the thousand year door by Mario and friends with the power of the crystal stars. The shadow queen also has some vampire-like abilities such as draining the life of others or eating people like for example when you fight her she eats everyone in audience to regain health
