no i mean what program (such as paint.net or photoshop) do you use to make your emoticons?

Before you start you must click on File then click on New.. and then put the canvas size as height 15 width 20 (you can mke it bigger if you want). Also make sure to save and open up the free emote base pack I made.
Step 1: make sure the background is transparent by making the eraser tool as big as possible and click on the canvas once then put the size number back to 1.
Step 2. Copy and paste the body (the big circle) of your choice onto the first layer (which should already be up there)
Step 3. Coy and Paste the hands(the 2 small circles) on the second layer.
Step 4. make a third layer and draw a face onto the the emoticon.
Step 5. Save the image as a gif or png image and then you have your emoticon
(btw in order to make a new layer click on layers then new layer. Also to move certain objects use the rectangle select tool and move it with the black mouse tool.)
