I think it is a nice subject to photograph. I like the strong yellow, however try to keep a nice balance between the colours, it would be nicer to have a stronger blue as a contrast too.
I would really work on the composition, maybe try photographing less flowers, because it is easier to create a good composition with less flowers. Think about the shapes you have in the image and how to make them the most interesting for the viewer. A good rule to follow is the 2/3 rule (there are many tutorials about this on deviantART).
I like that there is a cloud formation, it is always much more interesting than just the blue sky, but a little more light would have enhanced the image I think.
