you are a great artist , but you dont have any idea of who maa kali is .. she is a protector a mother , a great warrior .. and the form you describe lacked these things .. it is my suggestion that you do some research before creating a piece of art about her .. and try to see the other side of her also.

Wow Amazing, Kali for me represents dark energy, the very energy that permeates the entire universe, her inertia gives matter mass and momentum. Yet she is allusive and beyond conception.
I think two other goddesses that are awesome are,
The great goddess Dhumvati - the eternal Widow. Having swallowed her husband [Shiva - the universe] and annihilated the universe, she represents the void, non-existence, that what existed prior to creation, and that what remains after it's dissolution.
and, devi pratyangira, the lion goddess.

I'm Hindu. I respect Kali. And I haven't found a more erotic, beautiful vision of my goddess anywhere. It evokes a lot of Eros and lust. However, one also realizes respect for her form and grace.
The thing to note about Shakti or Kali is that she responds to bhav ( loosely translated as your passion/emotion/affection/desire and lust for her) As long as you respect her as Shiva or Rudra did and completely submit yourself to her, She will respond to your love and /or lust for her.
You'll never make her your own like Shiva did because you are not Him.
Shiva personifies a whole gamut of qualities. The day you imbibe Him, you'll find Shakti (Kali's transcendental form) in some or the other forms on you.
