Aoko glance at Ran from the corner of her eye and looked away before the other girl noticed.
"Nakamori-chan?" Aoko winced. Caught. Damn.
"Is something the matter?" Ran asked, Aoko kept looking away, and Ran couldn't help but get this nagging feeling that it has something to with her. Aoko felt her face grew a small embarrassed blush.
"Nothing, Mouri-chan." Ran blinked, unsure about leaving it alone, but if she kept prying, the less chance Aoko will say what's bothering her. With a resigned sigh, Ran aimed a reassuring smile at Aoko, even though Aoko wasn't looking at her.
"Well if you need anything, just let me know, ok Nakamori-chan?" Aoko stiffened a bit, and nodded. Seeing her nod, Ran look back down the street, wondering which shop or cafe to go to next in order to get Aoko more open up to her. She just wanted to be friends with Kaito-kun's best friend.
Feeling that Ran isn't looking at her anymore, Aoko glance back at the girl and looked away before Ran notices it again. She couldn't tell Ran that she felt a bit self-conscious about her own appearance, even though she is kind and all, not to mention perhaps a little naive...but Aoko just can't tell her that the reason for feeling self-conscious and glancing at her way is because she has a bigger chest than her own.
