"Aodh fancies himself as something of a hunter. While his lifestyle isn't exactly that of a wandering nomad or a sedentary noble, he prides himself on being able to provide for his own needs and survive with relatively little support from other Pererth. When it comes time to eat, he takes flight to a suitable hunting grounds to find something that'll make a good meal. Aodh takes care not to exhaust any one specific area due to the fact that prey will very quickly memorize the silhouette of four-winged death that he tends to give off. He might be a little on the brutish and brash side, but he isn't stupid.

Four-course meals aren't the only reason Aodh will take off on his hunting trips. Sometimes, he will take shorter excursions to his home's surroundings in order to find something a little smaller-- aka, a snack. Aodh's favorite snacks in particular are small game animals-- little critters like hawks, raccoons, and rabbits. He loves rabbits in particular because after a good, long chase, their bodies are pumping with adrenaline by the time he catches them and that makes the meat taste a little sweeter.

Today's trip was very run-of-the-mill. Using tactics similar to a bird of prey's, Aodh spotted his quarry very quickly before swooping in just short of actually grabbing the rabbit. To fit his tastes, Aodh makes sure to give his food some illusion of hope-- he lets them gain some distance before ending the chase on his own terms. Today's rabbit actually put some distance between itself and its hunter before the Pererth pounced and promptly ended the hunt."

Very quick (and very late) doodle for the Hunting Contest going on over at . Have a very frustrated Aodh trying to nab a delicious rabbit. And yes, he doesn't have his arm/leg armor on because I was too lazy to draw it.
