Been awhile since I last did a reference sheet for any character of mine. Even a basic one like this!

It was very fun, I'll draw Reaver's and Oracle's sometime later this week, hopefully!

As for this guy...

He's a special Pererth whose features are a little different than those of his brethren. Lungwei is longer and leaner than the average pererth, with claws that are more bird-like than actual paws. His horns and nails are a bright golden color, and a vibrant blue fringe that resembles fins makes its way from the top of his head, to a little bit after his hips. He also has very long facial feathers and a set of very sensitive whiskers.

His whole body is adorned with softly glowing white runes-- signs of his magical power. They glow all the brighter when he uses his magic, especially when in flight.

Speaking of flight, Lungwei cannot fly like other Pererth, despite the fact that he has mastered his Alternate Form. Due to a run in with humans who sought to capture him for reasons unknown to him, Lungwei lost one of his wings and almost all of the other as he fought to escape. Even now, his shoulders still carry the scars of the poachers' brands. The only way he can fly now is using his magic, which lets him levitate.

Personality-wise, he is very friendly and calm, as his advanced age has given him plenty of experience to draw from during day-to-day life. He vastly prefers the company of his own kind, however, and can be a little reserved around other sentient species. On his own, he prefers to read, and can often times be seen practicing his magic.
