just my guess on what the unknown Akatsuki member would look like '^^ i have a feeling that she is definately female and maybe a powerful one, too. Hope she will make an appearance soon... n_nit looks better when it's full-viewed

and I'm sure she is a girl, since every group has a female in it, (sound four, legendary sannin, genin teams, etc.) also, Deidara already took the "girly guy" member's role in Akatsuki

actually "bya" is supposed to be the first kanji written on her ring. Each Akatsuki wears a ring that has a first character of a certain star/constellation. So the whole name of her ring should represent Bya-Kko
Byakko means white tiger, one of the four chinese gods/constellations: along with seiryu/azure dragon (deidara's ring), suzaku/vermillion bird (itachi's), and genbu/black tortoise (zetsu's ring)
