Oh well, another old drawing that approximately had been done like 6 months ago but left untouched (but kept well 
The story behind the creation of this image is from my interest to the Iven-Furrpaw 's shark character, Sophie that I found after digging further to his gallery folder. I was amazed with the delicate design of her, especially the fact that she has a distinctive tattoo with her. So I asked him if I can create a picture featuring her and I was happy that he agreed about it. And....here is the result!
And thanks for the patience in waiting this belated picture, Iven!
You might curious how they come from relatively same type of animal but have different body traits, especially their snout. I tried to keep the shape as close as the original one, like from this ref : (www.deviantart.com/iven-furrpa⦠) while keeping my own drawing style. (Well, it also serves as a portofolio for me in drawing a character with different physical characteristic, I guess). I was quite hesitant earlier to upload this since this was made when my drawing skill was beyond from my present condition though. But it still deserves to be posted as an finished art. 
I'm looking forward for another chance in drawing her again! I'm sure I'll be much prepared when drawing someone with the proportion like her in the future!

Plantigrade short-nosed shark bae meets digitigrade* long-nosed shark bae. I guess Cal must have told Tefenet must have told Leana about Sophie! And/or she snuck into whatever portal/teleporter/etc. they used to transfer between universes before it "closed".Β Β Wait, I just noticed there's a shadowy figure in the distance. Is that supposed to be anybody in particular?
IMHO the only big weaknesses you have are with eyes and teeth** (even though this is a relatively old work, I can tell you still have difficulties with 'em), but other than that, almost every other aspect of this is gorgeous!Β
BTW you're welcome for the Eclipse warning... (If DeviantArt is Tokyo, then Eclipse is Operation Meetinghouse...Β )
*I wonder something that I don't even know if you know the answer to: What if one of your characters attempted to walk plantigrade?Β
**For sharks they would most likely be different from that IRL, 'cause I'm not sure if multilayered, unsocketed, undifferentiated teeth unprotected by lips would be a viable thing for a talking terrestrial omnivore that apparently breastfeeds.

Well....you can say that this is just a non-canon illustration. I'm getting used to it from my OC-Training group where I must draw where my characters is having fun with others that is totally out from my universe. So yeah, maybe this is like a cross-over episode...
Okay, I must admit that expression is the most frustating part in my drawing process where If I messed up the eyes, the whole image would be dead. In addition that I chose the extreme worm-eye perspective which made me kinda difficult to measure their figures (and faces). And thanks to the traditional art traits, I only had limited times to correct and adjust the line. Otherwise, there would be too much irremovable stain. 
*Some did attempt to do that occasionally, but just for fun and games like how-far-can-you-go-with-your-ankle challenge. But since the mentioned joint is not designed to withstand excessive force, so I'm sure they wouldn't do it often. Though maybe someone with high curiosity and self-consciousness like Black might be tempted to explore the capability in walking in plantigrade further (with help of some soft pads).
**I guess that is the problematic thing to adapt an animal outside its natural habitat with restricted morphology shape.... I think I can't do much about that. Let's keep this as an logic exclusion and apply the comic logic until I found a better way to deal with it wkwkwk
