It is just funny realizing that I can draw something super fast and sometimes super slow, depending to the character, the background, existing motivation, and many other factors.

Anyways, the summer (or maybe hot season in my place) is still on with scorching heat, which is a perfect time to draw another art related with summer themes. And since it is a Shark Week time, It would be fitting if I feature a shark in my roster! Like usual, I picked Leana to be featured again and I decided to pick the surfing scene as somehow I feel unsatisfied with the art style in the old surfing pic ones (the classic old art cringe XP). Plus, this was another good opportunity to practice painting water more.

Particularly happy with the result! Feels like I finally did some justice to her design from the old art with cleaner lineart and sharper shading. From this, I pretty much got the gist of the coloring and shading for the water. Just need to flesh out better for the shape during next water speedpainting. Though I might need to tweak the pen tablet setting to make the stroke more smoother first.
