I can't read German, so I've never read your story Grown Up Under Ruins, but I had kind of gathered form the art that Fayeth takes some kind of motherly role with Vegeta. In this picture where he's a little older he kind of looks like he'd be okay if her affection for him was something other than maternal. Is that right?

Hmn, your´re right. I think those two have their very own relationship. It´s hard to explain. I think he loves her a lot and would do everything for her, even the way she loves him back but in another way Vegeta does with Bulma in some sort of pairing / shipping.
It´s really hard to tell.
She was his first light.
His hope to live under that hell he was being throught under Freezer, so I think those two will have ever and always a special bonding
