Hailing from the game of the same name holding the Guinness World Record for “Most Successful Coin-Operated Arcade Game”, PAC-MAN hails from PAC-LAND as one of its most reputable heroes. With a huge appetite, PAC-MAN is often seen eating Pac-Pellets and fruits in order to build up strength and take on whatever obstacle is imposed on him. He usually goes up against the ghosts Inky, Blinky, Pinky, and Clyde, although he does occasionally team up with his ghostly rivals to take on bigger threats. As an overall selfless and friendly guy, it is not too big of a surprise that he has settled down in Pac-Village with a wife and child.

PAC-MAN first appeared at the 4th incarnation of Smash World, and upon first arriving, he became a big deal, considering since even though Mario's the first Smasher, PAC-MAN is older than he is, like Mr. Game & Watch. But PAC-MAN also gets huge attention for being a member of the Iconic Pentagon, which at the time consisted of Mario, Sonic, Mega Man, him, and Cloud Strife. Now at Ultimate, it became the Iconic Hexagon, with Snake's return. This doesn't matter to him that much, because PAC-MAN likes to watch over his town and hang out with Game & Watch. But he'll also like to fight, especially if food is involved.
