My entry for the contest. Inspired by what I saw for the game, The World Ends with You. At first I was a little disappointed because she doesn't really look like a character that would fit into the game, but the rules say it's not really meant to...I think

Anyway, I still really like it, and it got me to draw some more, and create a new character. I like the style in the game, especially the backgrounds and setting overall. I normally like to do more cutesy, colorful, retro-ish stuff, so this was more of a challenge. I was actually going to give her pants, but since the game has an urban Japan theme, I just had to draw those loose, baggy boots that I mostly see in Japanese fashion, but maybe that's just me

I started to draw a hat on her, but realized she was starting to look like the girl on the main page of the contest. Somehow, she ended up with a weird moogle headband, lol. I also wanted to try out a couple of different facial expressions, and decided she was someone is wearing a different themed headband everytime you see her. Not sure why yet, and she doesn't yet have a name.

Hmm, that's all I can think of for now to explain. I had fun!
