ooookay, so, firstly, I spent two whole hours in this because I didn't know how to make Rachel look like a fading memory in the sky it was solved with a little bit of blur...hehehe...
This picture here represents that Karl remembers Rachel while looking at the starry night, and he remembers his hidden feelings for her. He also realizes that it was a forbidden love, that it could have never been. While thinking this, the image or memory of Rachel starts to fade, basically telling him that she was out of his reach, not only because she was dead, but because she was human.

I was listening to these Violin and Piano songs all the time I worked on this:

-Moonlight [link]

Tools used: Blur, AirBrush, Bucket and Marker.
