Description Taking the development of the Unicorn series one step further Anaheim Electronics under direction of the Sleeves decided to streamline the NT-D system along with the Psycoframe mobile suit design. Rather then construct layers of Pyscoframe material beneath movable armor slats, the material was instead integrated directly into the armor material, and frame of the mobile suit. This essentially gave the same type of hyper performance as the Unicorn while using much less Psycoframe material. Since the new MSN-104 was meant to be a full combat capable realization of the NT-D system, the unit was based on the frame of the RX-93 Nu Gundam, rather then the Sazabi or Sinanju.

Because of the nature of the NT-D system is was ideal for increasing the precision with which to control funnels and the Sleeves spared no expense having the MSN-104 Rakshasa outfitted with the perfect weapons to make use of this new found precision, equipping the unit with six Fin Funnels, on top of it's ability to potentially manipulate enemy funnels through use with the NT-D system. The MSN-104 Rakshasa is relatively bare bones when compared to the Sinanju, do tot he fact after the group became low on funds after confirmation that the Laplace's Box had fallen into the hands of the Federation. As such what was to be Full Frontal's personal mobile suit was abandoned mid construction and stored in the basement of Anaheim Electronics.

Red's notes: Thanks to StrikeZero for helping to color the base art that I used for this design.

So is this another GN-X variation?

Because the head of the suit is a GN-X head

You know, I hate to be a downer, but is there an chance we could see a non-red version of this suit? I get the impression it's an impressive suit, but all the red makes me think more sazabi or sinanju instead of Nu.

(or, if you won't recolor it, could I get permission to use it in a recolor request on the mechatalk forums?)

It was intended for use by Full Frontal who's impersonating Char hence the choice in colors. If you want to get a color from Mechatalk though I don't mind.
