It might be a harmless doodle and play around but you've shown some amazing improvement within working with program and developing a style that has become far more colourful and char-mastic.
What's interesting is your own take on the character is simple yet striking with how it has a 'chibi' like aroma to itself. It feels you've taken a design that can appear rather complex and abstracted areas that keeps all the charm without the extra weight. Not only that, but its a style that many can attract to since the simplicity of it is easy to notice and striking.
Colour is explored well and this heavy approached used should definitely be played around with more since it works tremendously well with your way of drawing.
