Actually, Sesshy is a pure breed. Rumiko Takahashi refers to his 'demonic purity' a few times throughout the manga and the book i can never remember the name of....anyway, that's why he's such a snob to Inuyasha all the time. And i'm pretty sure his Mom is the same kind of dog as Inu no Taisho, at least they look the same....don't quote me on that though.

I never read far into IY so iono how much purity Sess has. What is his mother? I thought she was a dog demon too. I only wonder about Yume's full capability because of Inu-Yasha's human blood makes him incapable of certain things like that so I wonder if not having a pure blood of one specific demon type also would limit Yume?
