Description A Clue From An Eldarin

Baran flew north over the Ruthdans.  As he flew, the colour in the world around him turned to grey.  Wondering what was happening, he landed in a nearby hollow.  As the colour completely drained from the world, he noticed a statue of the clan marking of the Windscythe clan.  Heading towards it, he ran his fingers over the rough pumice stone.  A burst of light appeared from the statue and the Eldarin of the Windscythe clan appeared before him in full colour.  Baran quickly stood and retreated a few steps.  The Eldarin just smiled at him, it's eyes burning gold.
"You're Avariel aren't you?"
...Yes...
"What's happening?"
...You Don't Have Much Time.  Tiamat Intends To Destroy You With It's Eldarin Monsters It Has Created...
"How do I stop this from happening."
...Head To The Northern Edge Of These Mountains.  There You Will Find A Cave Of Ice.  Enter This And Follow It To The End.  There Your Fate Will Be Decided...
Avariel disappeared and colour returned to the world.  Baran scratched his head.
"To the North?"
"Baran!"
Aela swooped out of the sky and tackled Baran to the ground in an embrace.  She laughed and kissed him.
"Don't leave like that!  I was afraid we wouldn't find you!"
Baran got to his feet and returned Aela's kiss as Misa and Aether arrived.  Baran quickly told them what the Eldarin had told him.
"So we have to head north?"
"Yes."
"Well let's go then.  No point waiting around here."

It didn't take the group long to find the cave the Eldarin had spoken of.  Clear translucent ice covered the doorway.  The first thought was to melt the ice.  Aela quickly started to summon magic.  Suddenly Baran reached out and grabbed her arms.
"Don't! If you do, the whole cave might collapse!"
Aela stopped and looked at Baran, placing her hands on her hips.
"Then how do suppose we do this then?"
Baran cocked his head to one side as if listening to something and walked forward to the ice-covered doorway.  Raising a finger, he traced the clan symbol of the Windscythes in the snow on the ice.  The ice rumbled and slid up allowing them to see the interior of the cave.  Baran had been right to stop Aela.  The cave itself was made from not only ice, but anaqueda.  If Aela had melted the door, the whole place would have exploded.  The group quickly entered, the anaqueda in the walls of the cave lighting their way.  About halfway through the cave they came upon a large empty cavern with a waterfall frozen in mid fall on one wall.  In the roof of this cavern was a great hole as if something had fallen through recently.  Directly underneath the hole lay a drift of fresh snow.
"What do you think happened here?"
"I'm not sure.  But whatever happened, it wasn't too long ago.  Let's have a look around."
Misa wandered over to the frozen waterfall.  As she got closer she realised that the waterfall was only frozen on the inside and that the water still flowed inside it.  Rubbing some more of the snow off the waterfall, she quickly jumped back, inside the waterfall was a glowing eye.
"There's something in there!"
Misa turned and ran to where the others were looking at the snowdrift.  As she ran, the frozen waterfall exploded and shards of ice flew in all directions.  Before them was a giant serpent, it's head rearing out through the hole in the cavern.  Diving for cover behind the snowdrift as the monster roared and ice fell from the roof, a gem flew out of the snowdrift and into the creature’s watery body.  It's body slowly hardened and it's head changed shape to the torso and head of a woman made of ice.  The group immediately looked at Aether for an explanation.  Aether shuddered.
"Rezen has found a way to combine two of the Eldarin in one body."
Around the walls, anaqueda started to glow and it projected an image into the air of Rezen.
"It's amazing what innovation can do isn't it?  I have used my power to combine the two comparatively weak Eldarin Leviathan and Shiva into one powerful Eldarin.  I give you the Eldarin Nagareth!"
The image disappeared and Nagareth roared.  Baran quickly turned to the rest of the group.
"We can't leave this cave to fight that thing.  If we do, we may lose our chance to find Rezen."
"So we run?"
Misa looked around and suddenly thought of something.
"Aether, this whole cavern is anaqueda!"
Aether nodded and stood up.
"The three of you run.  I'll distract Nagareth."
Aether summoned his transcended form as the three others ran for the other exit of the cavern.  Aether circled the head of the beast and tried to watch the others run from the room.  As they finally left, he flew straight for the torso of Nagareth and down it's body.  The head followed him down.
"That's right.  Follow me."
Now that Nagareth was in the cavern, he quickly sealed the roof over with anaqueda he created.  The large monster was now trapped in a small area.  Quickly dodging the swings of it's tail, Aether flew for the exit.  As he left, he turned around and blasted Nagareth.  The torso of Nagareth exploded, spraying dark blood over the walls and causing the anaqueda in the cavern to explode.  Aether screamed in pain as some of the blood sprayed onto his right shoulder and started to burn into his skin.  Not having time to worry about that however, he flew down the corridor towards the others.  He quickly rounded a corner and rolled out of the air at their feet.  He breather heavily and looked at his right shoulder.  It was a mess of Nagareth's blood and his own.  Misa quickly summoned the Angel Flute.  As lifted it to her lips, Aether shook his head.
"No time.  We have to move."
Helping her father to his feet, Aela took his weight as they ran ahead of the rumble of ice and snow.  The snow got ever closer to them and they emerged from the cave just ahead of it.  They quickly headed to the side of the entrance as a little of the snow and ice followed them out, the rest sealing the cave up.  Now having a chance to look at their surroundings, the group were amazed.  They stood in a valley covered with little white flowers.  Misa picked one up and looked at it closer.  It seemed like a wild rose, only it had two layers of petals and a blood-red heart.
"I've never seen this kind of flower before.  What is it?"
Aether looked up into the purple sky, as if it was permanently sunset.  Aether closed his eyes as a tear ran down his cheek.
"That is an everbloom.  We have arrived at Sanctuary."
