It's been so long since I posted anything and I apologize. Life has been taking control of me more along with a mix of not sure how to update everyone that follows me. Thank you if you do and still are. In the time of my absence, we've had two amazing GOTY quality games this year and of course, they are both from Capcom. Devil May Cry 5 and the game that has reignited my artistic muse as you can see in the photo above, Resident Evil 2 remake.

OMG, this game was everything I imagined and more. The continuation of the RE Survival Horror comeback is stronger than ever, RE2R was so familiar and new at the same time which is what you want in a remake; and as a result of that, the horror was more alive than ever. My top favorite thing that the remake gave us, in my opinion, was the best versions of Leon and Claire EVER. Holy shit, not only where they stunningly modeled and voiced, their personalities were so good and so natural. Everything about my new top favorite RE game ever made me wanna jump back into the art world.

Which brings me to the elephant in the room, you see that handsome devil in the gray shirt and blue jacket with Leon and Claire? Yes, that is who you think it is. Joey Kennedy has been remade as if he was in RE2R and the RE engine. There are people I want to thank for making that project a reality and I will in a future post. Not only was the character model remade, but my story for Joey in RE2 time has also been remade. Let me explain. I was originally working on an RE2 comic-like story that you can see I was gonna have in actual comic book panels. (Shouts out to StacyAdler again for the original Kennedy brothers fan art you see in one of the panels.) I was having it written out how I wanted Joey to enter Raccoon City and reunite with his brother and how he met Claire. I assure you that the story still lives but like it says in the post, it has been rebooted/remade and I honestly think it is for the better.

So what are you to expect from me now that I am back? More RE starring my original character! You can never have enough Resident Evil fan art out there. Am I right? Once again, thank you to my followers for hanging on and I hope I will not disappoint with my new RE2 story.
