Another picture of my Toothless cosplay.Not a particularly detailed photo, but one of my favourate pictures of the costume. I like how it has a slightly confused look from this angle. XD

OH and what do you do to keep cool under there? I heard of battery operated fans?

Hi there! I have a pretty high heat tolerance so have never put fans in my suits, but have heard that CPU fans work quite well for cooling and getting a better airflow in the suit. There are plenty of guides around on how to use/install them in fursuits and costumes; and I'm sure there must be some out there about putting fans in quadsuits specifically as well.

Do you happen to have a tutorial on this? I'm planning on making a quad-suit of toothless. There are many that I love, but I am interested in making one with fur. Any information is helpful! Thank you (:Β

Sorry, I don't have (or plan on making any) guides for any of my costumes; but I know there are a lot of good guides available online - I recommend looking up a good quadsuit guide as a starting point if you are planning on making your own Toothless. Research, practice and time are required to make a good costume... work out what you want to do and experiment; and don't worry if it doesn't come out perfect first time. Don't be afraid to change things and re-make them as you go along... it takes a long time to get good at any art (I have been making suits like this a long time and costumery is an art form so does take practice) but stick with it and you'll be able to create something you'll like. And most importantly, have fun! ^^
