It's hard to believe it's been 5 years since the North American release, but I am finally putting up some finished fanart to show how much I appreciated the world of Solatorobo!The picture is kinda big, so do try downloading the full image~

Love this game to pieces! I considered it my first adult financial decision when I was able to by all the concept art books; so much effort and detail that it could be the basis for multiple games, and it all went into a single DS game! I really do hope they make good on those rumors for a sequel, even if it takes another whole decade to come out.
And likewise, you've done an amazing job with this one! The structure of the characters and the Dahak look very on-point, and the lighting is so suitably atmospheric & lofty. I would honestly say that this would fit right into one of the many fanbooks they've produced for the game, so in summation, very nice work!

Oh, good idea on getting the concept art books, I learned about them after they were hard to acquire, but forgot before I learned how to buy things internationally...time to go hunting online!
I too am hopeful for another game in the series: given how much the developers like that world, I think they'll eventually get the chance to make another, especially given that Cyber Connect 2 is working on high profile projects, so hopefully they have the funds to do so~
And thank you for the compliments! I went through a lot of revisions to get the characters to look right, but I'm pretty satisfied with how they came out. There are still things I wish I had thought through some more, but that's always the case, I suppose.
