Really quite beautiful. The effect is genius and the execution is wonderful. I get a sense of story. To me, there are many different interpretations of this subject, and I think those are some of the best photos.

Sometimes I just stand and observe people in the rushhour of the day and this picture was taken at the Central station in Stockholm and I saw this girl stop in the middle of the crowd, but just for about 15 seconds and I manage to get this shot seconds before I had to throw myself onto my Subway It was quite a lucky shot but it turned out pretty good

But to answer your question, Yeah sometimes I wait for up to an hour to take a photo, the longest time was when I wanted the clouds on a picture to be placed in a special way, for that photo I waited for mayby two hours or so but in the end I didn't even save the photo at all

I tried it in color at first but it lost the feeling of isolation from the rest of the world in some way so black and white it was

I was just looking at this pic as a Daily Deviantion so ... after that I saw it inside TheStreetFactor.
I'm really proud to have this pic inside it.
I find this pic really great. The comment written in the Daily Deviation is absolutely true. The world passes by the woman, this feeling is really transmitted by the pic.
You caught the "moment decisif" ... a woman stopped while all the world flows by.

The dark grey of the woman against the light grey of the environment enhance the power of the "moment". I find the Composition very, very good.

Fav is a must !!!!!
