Description
This is one the first commissions I've done in a long time. It was done for !
This is of course is a dramatic moment from the famous Sorcerer's Apprentice scene in Fantasia. I wanted to heighten the drama by having Mickey Mouse actually see the sorcerer appear at the doorway.

This was done with a mixture of colored pencils, ink, and white gelly roll pens.
I had actually done this a while ago, but I hadn't been able to post until now. I really loved how well this turned out! The whirlpool was the most challenging part. Getting the water to look right took a long time to perfect, but I finally manged to pull it off. I found myself having to make the shadows dark to the point where many of them were pitch black in order to create that contrast I was looking for.
Since I haven't drawn Mickey that often, I found myself having to redraw him a couple of times to get him to look right. Hope you all enjoy this!
