What if all of Europe had been part of the Soviet Union? This is how the flags of the new republics could look like.And no - I don't know how this could have happened and yes I know such a thing as a Vatican SSR is completely absurd.

I do wish they could've given more SSR's full status, like Slovakia, Catalonia (combined with Andorra), Flanders, Wallonia, Bavaria, Sorbia, etc.

I think alot would change, or does anyone think that some republics would survive? If this would this happen, we should say farewell to Liechtenstein, Loxembourg, San Marino or Vatican. The borders would be more ethnic I think.

The Georgian SSR and the Polish SSR flags had a red hammer, a red star and a red sickle.

The Norwegian one is the best! I also like the Sqiss, Swedish and Icelandic. Polish is also good.

I like the Polish flag most.Β And the Czechoslovak flag least.
BTW, Czechoslovakia should have been an SFSR.

Oh, I especially like the Norwegian and Icelandic ones. The Sammarinse and Swiss ones are very clever. (Slovakia and Yugoslavia would totes get to be their own SSRs, though). I also know that the Portuguese Presidential sash has some beet-purple in it, for some reason. British republicanism's got a red-white-green flag of its own.
The possibilities here would be perfect for Orwell's Eurasian Union.

They would prabably incorporate the area into Italy and reach an agreement with the papacy which would have to cooperate with the new Stalinist government. Just like the Russian orthodox church cooperated with the USSR.
