My reason as to why Applejack's last is because of her actions in "The Return of Harmony" and "The Last Roundup". Also because she does rash things but never gets appropriate punishment (like Rainbow Dash).

Mn...I don't know whether to be excited that people like Rainbow Dash, or to be insulted as most MLPers should be. While the chart is hilarious within the fandom, it doesn't make us look at all intelligent. That plot and story color I know is far larger than any individual character love.
