Description So I read "Fire" by Kristin Cashore and wanted to paint a red-haired girl the whole time I was reading it. This is just a quick painting (watercolour & photoshop) to recover from the Armitage Army piece. To be honest, I like this one much better. ThereΒ΄s some magic lost every time I turn a drawing into a painting.

This painting has been featured here!Β  Art Feature #3 - Red HairI've been looking at pictures of people with red hair for years since the main character of my book has red hair and I'm always looking for a good picture of her. I'll be honest and admit that some of the pictures here came out of the folder I keep pictures of her in but I did branch out a bit and look for pictures of children and things that were not photos and I was very happy with what I found.
As always, I searched out artwork that was under appreciated. All of these pieces of art have less than 100 comments so please make sure to go and give them some attention. Even if you don't like them, please make sure to politely tell the artist where you believe they can improve.
