Description
I colored one of my "scene" drawings... Im having trouble on coloring the other drawings, coz it has background and all...i wish i could colored them all soon. Here's the [link] of the other drawings.

When I read the title of the image I was expecting something blue or gray. I was a little shocked to find this was colored with reds! But that was definitely a plus for this piece. In spite of the warm tones, or perhaps even because of them, the idea of being cold is emphasized. I really like the lineart, especially the details in the hair and blanket. The coloring technique is what really stunned me; the sponge-like brush makes a very lovely pattern, especially in the shading. It has a soft watercolor feel, and combined with the color scheme and the brush pattern, reminds me of fire.
In short, this is another great example of the soft, nostaligic artwork that makes up a good deal of *reginafeby 's gallery.

I love the juxtaposition of ideas and technique you have going on here. That aloof, even cold expression on his face is there, but at the same time, those colors that we often like to think of as "warm"... the contrast of the two caught my eye immediately! Man, I'm glad I stumbled upon your gallery! Good stuff
