haha, and there I thought I would never post thy typical bare chested hunk pictures. Couldn't resist  . I need to sew new clothes for him. I washed everything I got for him a couple of times because I was afraid the clothes would stain the tattoos, and now they're too tight. Oh why do these guys have to be so broad..

Hahaha really??? I dont remember if I've ever washed my BJD clothes.  
Too bad they became too tight! :{ its not easy to find clothes to fit these big guys.
Gonna try sewing something for mine too. I have the machine, I bought fabrics, have tons of clothes to be recycled into bjd clothes but I'm soooo lazy to start! LOL

Maybe I shouldn't have bought only black clothes for him . Now he wears light grey, it's not what I had in mind for him but it suits him. Iple clothes rarely stain (except for the skinny black jeans), but I've bought some M3 EID clothes, they stain even after I washed them. They still fit my SID guy, though.
I love sewing for my dolls but I know what you mean. That's my one frustration with the hobby- I have so many ideas and I end up frustrated because you have to make almost everything you need first, prop-wise.

Yes true, its hard to find props perfectly scaled for these big dolls. 
1/3 scale sometimes is too small. :}
Shael wears mostly greys too. I never had problems of black clothes staining my dolls and maybe 70% of their wardrobe is black...
Only my Ringdoll Frankenstein fullset stained horribly around his legs, after a few hours if him wearing those pants and kilt. I cant remove the stains, I tried magic eraser, everything.

Sewing is not my thing but I made some nice clothes for my dolls in the past and its a good feeling to see things done by myself.

In Germany it's even hard to get 1/3 scale props. Or props that are not pink..
So far I was lucky and alcohol and doll cleaner worked, but it's a pain to get the black lint off their joints. But magic eraser would erase the tattoos, too, so no more black for Ruben. Or I am going to use some of my old clothes.

I love the bracelets you made for your dolls.

Yes, magic eraser would remove tattoos and body blushing and in case of tan dolls would damage the resin tone in that area.
I need motivation to start sewing something. I prefer using old clothes than new fabrics because I'll have pre-sewn parts with details, and hemmed already.

Thanks! I love making bracelets and jewelry for my dolls. I wanted to make "macramé" bracelets for them but I still didn't learn the technique, I tried and went wrong!
So I did the friendship bracelets I used to do when I was in school using flexible plastic stripes and threads. A lot easier! :}
