The gritty background adds so much to this photo! The ground's texture, the twigs and the bit of green are surprising, and make the shot very interesting.

When I first looked at this Picture i laughed because of the cats really funny expression. I know that it is really hard to take such an amazing photo. The picture is really well focussed on the eye too wich has an really great impact on the audience and draggs them into the photo.
The light brown of the cat is in a small contrast with the background but not too much wich makes this picture very dynamic.

What I like about this is the unique way you captured the cat. It appears he is laying on his back quite relaxed. I also find it creative on the perspective, leaving one eye out. What I noticed as well is how at quick glance the reflection in the eye looks like a heart. There is a reflection within the eye of the photographer but I do not think it takes away from the photo but it may be something you may, or may not want to watch for. All in all it is well done and cute

This a lovely cat image. The eye is focused so perfectly. I love how the whiskers are soft. The fur is lovely and focused very nicely. I see many cat images and this a first see a cat in this way. So there is originality. The only thing is the light is really bright around the cats face. It draws out the focus a little. I think the main focus is the eye. Cropping the image around that I believe would add more impact. But overall lovely cat image. And a Fav!

This is such a beautiful and well taken photo. It's set apart from other animal pictures as you've executed it so differently. I love the fact you've done half a face instead of sticking to the conventional methods. Great work, well done!

I like how half the face is cut off, it seems more like the format of a human portrait than a cat, very interesting. Not a typical cat photo, which is good since there are so many cat pics!
