Sabrina, many of us who've played the original Red and Blue versions remember what a challenge this witch really was, since back then there was no true way to harm a Psychic Pokemon, Ghost attacks did squat and other than Pin Missle and Twineedle, there were no super powerful Bug moves. Her anime adaption lives up to her reputation tenfold here. She's yet another monster from my childhood, everything about her was creepy, from her monotone voice provided by the incomparable Lisa Ortiz (Amy Rose, LinaΒ Inverse), to that little sentient doll she has, to the fact that like Raven from the Teen Titans cartoon, her powers are extremely broken, with a Pokemon to match! In retrospect, she still unnerves me, she's perhaps the creepiest villain in the whole show next to Pokemon Hunter J, and her reputation makes her just as memorable as Mewtwo. Like with Lieutenant Surge, Ash was put through the ringer when figting her Kadabra, though on an almost godlike scale, and he very nearly lost his life battling her, she's the closest thing to a demon we'd get in the series for many years to come. This is the real Sabrina the Teenage Witch! It also has a very lovely homage to The Twilight Zone if you pay close attention to the episode. I dare not reveal all the details, this episode is one you really have to experience if you're a true Pokemon fan. And before you ask, yes, I do consider this to be the most disturbing episode of the show, it stil sticks with me even to this day.

Pokemon is owned by Nintendo and The Pokemon Company.

1001 animations is from Mr. Enter.

So this is the way to Saffron City, huh Misty? I knew we shouldn't of listened to you, now we'll never get out of here.
As if. Your sense of direction's so bad, you can't find yourself in a mirror.
You crack mirrors!

I think Misty's gonna need one of these:

Is it wrong to say that this would be how I fell for her?

Also, that damn ghost glitch... have some fun with this abridged trilogy!Β www.youtube.com/watch?v=duDNiw…

The single greatest villain of all time. This episode was simply too badass. Should of had Dimmu Borgir or Malice Mizer play whenever she was on the screen.

I really should get around watching the old school classics again, I remember recording episodes like this on Sky One as a kid oh those were the days right now I'll need to get them on DVD.

This whole episode was amazing. I don't really care for the other two episodes of the arc though, and I could debatably make Haunter Vs. Kadabra an Animated Atrocity.

The tone of these 3 episodes is wildly inconsistent, Tower of Terror is alright, but Haunter Vs. Kadabra tries to make a monster who killed her mother sympathetic.

I know, forced to be Sabrina's plaything for the rest of eternity. And there's no indication she was ever turned back. Given the option, I'd rather she just kill me.

her SOB story was barely hinted at and came out of nowhere, they just didn't want her to be evil because the shows morality is far too balck and white.
