For well over two decades the console wars have been a prevalent battle in modern society. But in the beginning of the Eight Generation of video games there was a dark time which threatened to destroy one small mountain town in Colorado and forever divide the entire world! I am talking of course of the battle of Black Friday.
This is nothing new mind you, Black Friday has been a mindless parade of chaos and human greed, at leastΒ since the Cabbage Patch riot of 1983. And every year at least 100 or more people die in this ensuing madness, thousands more can get seriously injured. I am among those who gets caught in the ensuing wave of greed and selfishness, and I feel no shame! With the insurgence of the Xbox One and Playstaion 4 it was only a matter of time before they would get in on the action and show it off the only way they knew how!
This show is able to take even the stupidest concepts and turn them into something epic! A console war? NO! Make it into a full-on Game of Thrones parody! Even as somebody whose never even seen Game of Thrones I was able to get very invested in this fight as I'm sure any fan of GoT would. It's amazing how they can take a simple fight over video games and make it into a bloodbath! From the gardens of betrayal down to the intense atmosphere of the episode you'll be hooked all the way through! So much wiener, standing tall and firm,Β flopping in the wind...
The best thing about this "movie" so to speak is of course Kenny; and I'm not going to say anything else. I really don't wanna spoil any of the fun! Whether you're a sneaky little bee looking for a good deal or you have a fine appreciation for the dexterity and true potential of wieners, this is truly one of South Park's finest moments in their long and illustrious history. Even after nearly 20 seasons the show has proven time and again that it can stand the tests of time and remain one of the greatest cartoons ever made. Anyone else up for a wiener party?

Of this episode, I only hated the fact that Stan and Kyle fight, almost to the point of breaking their friendship...And also, I hated the fact of how Stan's Mom turned in a jerk and grounded unfairly Stan by the balme of an old gossip geezer...

it is a great special from the show and i really love it .... but than it's ruined because it's not the true season finale and is ruined by that Hobbit episode with that rapper guy who had the episode about Gay fish. that episode was funny, the hobbit one was not.Β

It had a lot more than that going for it. Still it's a lot more entertaining than a side scroller that plays like Final Fantasy. I will admit that Stick of Truth's story was pretty entertaining, the original South Park game was kind of like a simplistic version of Fallout. You explored the town, fought various enemies like turkeys, aliens and toys(there were more. Also there were power ups and cheesy puffs for health and I think they even had go karts. I'll admit it's dated(Jesus Christland it's about 20 years old), but what game made in the late 90's isn't?

You want a really underrated fps from the 90's? Try Redline, which I believe served as partial inspiration for games like Borderlands and Rage. It was recently released on Steam and it's a helluva lot better than IGN made it out to be (in fact, critics in general gave it a bit of a bad rap when it was first released and I honestly have no idea why).Β

Except for Kyle. He instead gets his clothes from "The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers," and a completely original outfit in Stick of Truth. Cartman's Grand Wizard outfit was also fromΒ "The Return of the Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers," though it was less detailed.
