Blue, red, green and gold fireworks glittered in the dark sky, delighting the children's eyes who did not say a word.

- "This is so beautiful." the blond said.

- "Very." the brunette answered back.

Alois discretely laid his eyes on his friend who was lost in contemplating the sky.
A sad look appeared on his face.

"You know, today is my birthday." explained the blond.

Ciel immediately left his daydreaming. He laid his only visible eye on his eldest and noticed his melancholic air.
Alois could feel the blunette's look burning him for a moment. Moment that seemed very long since Ciel did not say anything and simply kept observing him. As if inspecting him like that would help him understanding Alois.

He eventually reported his eye on the sky, his face as impassive as it could be.

"I'm not the kind to celebrate it but...anyway; Happy Birthday, Trancy."

Alois' eyes widened. He could not hold a tear to slide down his cheek. He quickly turned away and succeeded, thanks to his hair locks, to hide his face from his friend's sight. He really did not want to show himself this weak in front of him. However, he could not stop his sweet lips to put on a smile.

"Thank you, Ciel. "

//"How ironic it is, that of my life, you're actually the first person to wish me a happy birthday ..."//

Uuuurgh !! Finally finished !! °q°
I drew this the 5th of November as a birthday present for my beloved Alois Trancy but I couldn't manage to make the colors in time, I was SO fucking tired ><'
I finally had it finished now aaaaand I'm pretty much satisfied with how it came. Even if I find the background to be a little strange é____è

As you may have read it above, this drawing is a little representation of a scene I wrote on the latest chapter of my french fanfiction "Âmes soeurs" (that you can read here : [link] .
On this passage, Ciel and Alois are in a hostel (not for what you think U///U) and since it is Guy Fawkes Night, they watch the fireworks from the balcony of their room. Then, Alois ends up informing Ciel that it's his birthday.

Please forgive my language, english is not my mothertongue so even if I did my best to translate this extract from french to english, there may still be some mistakes.

Anyway it's also my entry for the "Kuro Birthday Contest".

Time of coloring : 6/7 hours.
