**Last night at 8:30**Me: Man, was that ever a good movie! I think I'm gonna draw fanart of it!
**Half hour sketch is done and uploaded onto DA, outline cged**
Me: That looks so good! I'll finish cging it tomorrow.
**Next day: after about 5 hours working on CG...**
Me: MY EYES! *FALLS OVER DEAD*
That's how this pic came to be. But sitll, I love the outcome. I like how I did the hair, especially Violet's. Isn't she gorgeous? I wish I looked like her. D; In the pic it took all my will to make Klaus NOT look like Harry Potter. I was very very very close to it many times.
Then I was gonna color his eyes green and I had to stop myself cuz then he'd really look like Harry. @.@ The pictures I used as color references never really showed their eye colors, so I gave them my own. I gave Violet a... purple color because of her name. Plus I always thought that Auburn hair and purple eyes were gorgeous together. Sunny doesn't have a bunny in the movie, but I thought it'd be cute to give her one. ^^:Violet, Sunny, and Klaus Baudelaire (c) Lemony Snicket? Is that the actual author? I'm so confused!!!! .... and Nickolodian.

amazin pic i saw the sketch of this.....anyway for all the ppl who think Lemony Snicket is real hes not. Daniel Handler originally came up with "Lemony Snicket" as a pseudonym to use rather than using his real name.

How did Handler come up with the name "Lemony Snicket"?
My theory: "Lemony" is derived from "lemon". Lemons are sour. The books are described by Danny Handler as unpleasant, miserable, sour. The books are as sour as lemons. The books are lemony. What about "Snicket"? "Snicket" seems to come from the word "persnickety", which means "hard to please", "difficult to make happy", and other slag. The books are...well...not very happy. The reader's relationship with the books is likely...persnickety, as it is difficult for the reader to feel happy from the books, which are very depressing and don't have a happy ending.
"Lemony Snicket" likely means "sour unhappy".

I like this still...
(I haven't seen the movie, so I apologize for my noob-ness), the coloring is composed nicely, and nicely done on the female (yeah, I have to agree, she is quite beautiful, the actress...); You were rather close on making the boy look like HP big time, even though the face looks a tad distorded, but you did an excellent job none-the-less. Also, good decision on the background, it kept up with that 'mood' for the so called 'poor children'...
