R: Here's my finished product on a Realistic Mia!I used a photo for reference, but I can't find it again... >.<;;
Phew even tho it was my first time drawing realistically digitally it was pretty fun! Took several days to complete.
Anyhow, here's my stylized attempt from using my visual library:

She looks really nice, especially for your first try! I think the style is more of a stylized semi-realism that actual realism, it looks really good to me, but if what you want is realism, you should pay a little more attention to the proportions: the eyes are a little too big, the mouth too small, and the neck too narrow. There are a lot of resources for learning face proportions online, you can ask me if you want some 
I really like how you did the hair, the highlights and the texture look very good, although the top of the head is a little unpolished. Is not a big deal, but it does make the picture a bit incomplete.
Another thing I think you could improve is the skin: while the soft shading you put works on most of the piece, adding some hard edges would make it pop out more, especially around the nose and eyes.
Which brings me to the eyes: you did a great job on the iris, but it seems to me like you neglected a little the rest of them. The top of the eyes could be a little darker, and the lacrimal (I'm not sure if that is the right word.. the pink thing at the edge of the eye) is a bit too pink, normally is redder. The eyelids are almost invisible, and maybe is because of the reference you used, but most of the skin around the eyes is too light or neutral when it should probably have a little more shadow and hard edges... also, the eyelashes. I know they can be very hard to get right, you could try making them longer and then using a soft eraser to "blend them in" with the rest of the skin, that usually looks good.
I really like the mouth it's so cute and nicely shaded... I think it is my favorite part of the painting <3

A lot of people have been mentioning that the top of the head looks a little off, and that the shading needs more contrast and fine-tuning.
I suppose it still does look stylized; after my previous WIP, I couldn't bring myself to give her the proper neck structure; in comparison to my (truly) stylized drawing, a anatomically neck looked to manly. xD
When you meant the "top of the eyes" you meant right underneath the eyebrow ridge, right? I agree with you. Shortly after reading your critique, I followed the majority of the critiques given, and the painting does look like it's heading in a different direction. The pink lacrimal felt better after I colored it a similar hue to the lips.
And lastly, I'm so glad you like the mouth! Apparently people have been telling me that that's my strong point! xDD Lips are fun to draw (that just sounded so weird...)

I would add some more fine hair strains. It looks quite good from far, but the details there are a bit few. Try to make some edges look more deeper, darken them more and with tinier brushes.Β

It is nice, quite realistic. But you should play a little bit more with shadows to make the general shape little bit more stand out and be more 3D. Also you quite nailed the texture of the hair and muffler, so you could also add it to the skin

Haha, I know the struggled when people just favourite and run, so I make an effort to comment on pics I like, even if all I have to say is that I like it.
I've never seen a joint DA account before, that's interesting! Also, I noticed that you do requests for free. Why's that? So you'll always have something to practice?

And thanks, Hana and I always do things together. ^u^ As for the requests, it was partially for the reason you stated and partially started as an experiment. I suppose we could buckle down and settle for commissions rather than giving them out for free, but as of right now we're still getting to know the community and how to interact with fellow artists. Having said that we can always stall the flow whenever we're busy so... [shrugs] It'll be quite the experience.

I was actually thinking of opening up commissions myself for a bit of extra money, haha. Although the decisions for if you should charge money or not is an interesting one, because charging money can give the impression that you're professional and confident in your work, and you intend on delivering it within a certain timeframe which could increase traffic, but it could also reduce it because people don't think in terms of "Oh this'd be cool, having a picture!" and more "Oh is this worth this much money?" Sort of in the same way that you're more likely to get people to help you move house if you don't offer them money, because if you don't they think of it as they're helping out a friend, but if you do offer money in return they think economically about it, wondering if the money you're offering is worth the work they're doing. :L Personally though, I'd rather do commissions instead of requests, because as well as getting you money, it holds you accountable. You need to finish it in a timely manner, because you're being paid for it, and I'd rather that accountability that would train me to be a writer worthy of being hired by someone down the track over the freedom I get from being able to take as much time as I can. :L
But with all that being said, if you want to draw a picture of one of my characters, I'd be pretty happy with that! I'm actually doing an art trade with the friend I mentioned at the top of this comment right now, and it's really cool seeing one of my characters have a face for once! (I'm not a drawer lel, just a writer.

That's a very good analysis of commissions and requests. I feel like that's pretty much on the mark; as striving manga/webtoon artists, we don't have much time to devote to requests and commissions, so accountability was and is a key factor in our decision. We like to be flexible, and although we try not to make the requested wait longer than a few weeks, there are times we can't squeeze it into our schedule. So, like stated before, currently requests is servingΒ it's purpose as an interesting experimentΒ and practice- while also getting to know the community. But commissions are a good idea too! I like how you want to appear professional and accountable. The discipline will be a great asset.Β
Just out of curiosity, did you ask me that question from a surveyor's point of view?
And also, if you want me to draw one of your characters, then it would be nice if you can follow the rules written on our Da ID (post under one of our galleries a reference picture- or in your case, the story describing the character). I'll be happy to check out your work, but like I mentioned before, we can get pretty busy; and if you're asking for a request, I might have to turn it down due to time constraints. :/
