last week, I watched Moana with my family and it was a blast! It was gorgeously animated, well written and had very memorable songs and characters! So naturally, I decided to draw some fanart!This time, I decided to experiment with different Brush types to give this picture a different texture.

This movie omg. I loved it so much! Idk if it's just me but I enjoyed Moana more than Frozen.

Yeah. Plus it's nice to see a character that's not white for a change. The story was great too. And the best part is that there was no romance between Moana and Maui.

Thanks! I used a reference from the promotional art as well as some more textures brushes. I'm really surprised of how good they are!
And I'm also glad Disney decided to go out of its comfort zone when it comes to princess films. I've been to Hawaii a few years ago and the Polynesian culture museum that was there and I loved the culture and the scenery. I by no means can call myself an expert but seeing moana brought back pleasant memories from that trip in terms of aesthetic, and from what I understood, the writers of moana really did their research on the culture unlike some OTHER films (*cough**cough* Pocahontas *cough* *cough)
