Character are drawn in Sai but ability in PS CS5, im trying to familiarize with the lots of brushes ive downloaded and how ive neglected using PS (Sai is easy, PS is complex but awesome if mastered) ahaha
The ability is my version based on the ref, trying to make the tentacle-like darkness look more emerged and in many direction but with my limited knowledge, here is the result XD
i wanted to do a full-body, so i made him wear short jeans and my favourite sandals (idk if this type has its special name since there are diff type of sandals haha)

Really good! He looks awfully cute too though a little girlish (is that a sports bra XP)
The shadow effect is pretty awesome and would be damned well hard to make with traditional mediums!
But the eyes are too close together the wrinkles on the pants are... well wrinkles and not folds and his right arm is too small even if it is behind him

be that as it my that is a mistake that appears frequently in your drawings
the eyes are too close together and overly large (even for manga) and the mouth is on the chin rather than above it

Wonderful. The darkness around the redhaired boy seems to be somehow close columnal matter. And it seems af he can use it for motion. A wonderful piece of art.
