My issue is: Nailing a goodly drawn aura for my villain oc

There are a lot of issues with my art but this specific one has received some attention since I'll be drawing a lot of it in my future comic. As said, I have been facing a difficulty trying to draw a unique aura for him. Balancing the bright orange and black is quite tough in addition with drawing the scene at night to get both lighting and shading in harmony. Nevertheless i do feel i have progressed towards getting the right aura for him. Maybe I'll stick to this way to draw for the manga :3
