Ahaha! THREE DAYS OF TOIL!
lol. I drew the original lineart, then I scanned it into the computer and started the coloring process...done all with a mouse thank you very much. But then of course, after about three hours of coloring GIMP crashed so I had to restart... not very happy.
I'm pretty glad with how it turned out! and whoever out there knows how to make the wings more translucent please tell!
When you FAV, please leave some type of comment or feedback! Although I really do appreciate all of the favs it's been getting, feedback would be really nice.

about making the wings translucent, if you color the background on one layer and color the wings on another depending on what program you use to color it, you can set the opacity to make them slightly see through. that or when you color them, you can set your brush opacity so that it comes out slightly see through.

lol i used gimp once, i put it on my computer then took it off cause it seemed less... professional. XD i use photoshop for most of my work. but i can use illustrator and some other programs too.

select the wings in another layer and simply turn down the opacity on the gradient or use the longer way which is too long to write

You either trace with the lasso tool or create a layer above it and simply erase the exess. Of course those are most definately not the only ways and I don't like using the second one pretty much at all so yeah.... There are better easy then mine believe me
