I do like her (the melancholy tone) though I was a little disappointed with her SNL performance. I think I remember seeing her in NYC when she was performing as Lizzy Grant. Actually, I may have shared a couple of bookings with her then (I play with a few singer/songwriters). She reminds me a little of Beth Gibbons (from Portishead) - I like her a lot. Do you know her, too?

I just checked out your Lana blog. It's very cool that you support artists in this way. Beth Gibbons and Portishead are on GoBeat which is a division of Universal Records (since the late 90s I think) but originally, GoBeat was part of an indie label in London. What do you think of her (and them)?
