This is a piece I started before Christmas 2013 but put on hold for a time to finish another piece first. It is based on the Zelda game the Wind Waker in which I tried to take a more realistic approach.As for the inspiration, pretty much any Nintendo concept art for the game.

This is really stunning! I really like the different approach other than the cel shading that we usually see Wind Waker in. I love the textures and the details as well! I love how The King of Red Lions has nicks and gashes in the wood, like a wood boat normally would. It's a nice touch!
