The Sky and the Defender Story 11: New Power Revealed
Tsuna sighs relive that Mitsuki finally come out, alive. And at the same time, amaze by her new state. Her eyes are more lively and fiercely than before. Her face is also gentler than before. She's like finally find her inner peace.
Mitsuki lit her flame and the flame is change. It's a high purity flame, like Tsuna, but its sliver. 'This feeling......is different than before. The power is totally different.' Think her amazedly.
"She finally overcomes the trial. As her tutor, I'm very proud to her." A voice suddenly hears in her mind. The voice sounds like Reborn.
"Eh? Did you say something Reborn?" Ask Mitsuki curiously to Reborn.
"Nope. I didn't say anything." Reply Reborn casually.
"But, I just hear you say something. Like, you're proud to....me?" Reborn's very surprise. He said it in his mind. It's impossible to hear it unless she....
"How did you......hear that?" Ask Reborn serious.
"Well, dun no. Since, this is my first time to hear it." Everyone looks surprise. And again, some voices hear in Mitsuki's mind.
"S-She can read minds!? That's impossible!!!! Don't tell me she's truly.....her daughter. That woman had been lost for many years."
"Without no doubts. She indeed has a connection with her younger sister. This is the proof. Only they have this ability."
"F-First time!?!? *sigh relive* I almost scare that her find out about my feeling toward her. It's embarrassing if she find out."
"So, she finally awakens her power. That Mitsuki. It will be tough battle if she keeps reading my mind."
"So, baby. From now on, I freely do anything to Mitsuki?" Ask Hibari.
"Of course. Just like Tsuna." Reply Reborn.
"Well, shall we begin, Sakimoto Mitsuki?" Hibari pull out his famous tonfa and active his cloud flame. And the killing aura around Hibari envelope the training room. But, Mitsuki's still calm. In fact, she smirks. SMIRKS.
"Wao, I never feel this excitement for a long time. Hibari Kyoya, the strongest and most fear man I ever counter." She immediately changes her gloves into twin blades. And again another killing aura envelope the training room and it come from Mitsuki which surprising the brunette because he never she's this serious.
"It seems she had been holding back this aura for a long time." State Reborn.
"Well, live her name as the Black-Winged Angel, the strongest hit woman that family have." Reply Lal.
Hibari and Mitsuki clash together in inhumane speed. It's almost impossible to watch the battle. When Hibari attack, Mitsuki always block it. When Hibari try to attack from behind, Mitsuki already in his back and attack him. She can avoid and block Hibari's attack, thanks to her Hawk's eye ability and her new found ability. While Hibari overwhelmed to attack Mitsuki, Mitsuki also overwhelmed to control her new gloves. Like Tsuna's gloves, it also likes a wild horse. A very wild one.
"What a high speed. How can she move this fast??? She's faster than Hibari and Sawada." Ask Lal curious to Reborn. Reborn only smirks.
"That because she's the Wind Guardian. Among the guardians, the Wind Guardian is the fastest. No guardians can beat them in speed. Just like the wind, it can be gentle and fearsome at the same time. That's why the Wind Guardian is the Chosen one." Reply Reborn proudly.
"Because they also like the sky too?" Reborn nod and continue to watch the battle.
Tsuna just stand in his place, not move for inch. He's too amazed and worried about Mitsuki. All he can do is just hoping that she can survive from this battle.
Hibari attack Mitsuki with a deadly blow and send her to the wall. Fortunely, she manages to block it, but still take the blow. She feels tired as she falls to the ground. She no longer can attack. It's exhausted to control the new gloves. Hibari realize that and then walk away.
"I will wait until you can entertain me, like ten years later yourself, Mitsuki." Say Hibari as he walks to the lift and leave the rest. And she sighs relive that Hibari's going easy on her. Reborn walk to Mitsuki. We can guess that he truly curious about her past.
"Lal, Tsuna, go out the room for awhile. I want to ask something to Mitsuki. Private." Say Reborn seriously and the two of them go out, leaving the tutor and one of the student alone.
"Okay, Reborn. Do you want to know about something?" Ask Mitsuki for a sudden act from her tutor.
"Yes. I want to know about your parents. The names, faces, everything." Reply Reborn serious.
Mitsuki knows it's not a joke and pull out a golden pocket watch from her pocket. She opens the watch and reveals a family photo. A tall blonde man look like Mitsuki's hair with green eyes, beside him a woman with a unique deep green hair and deep blue eyes like Mitsuki's eyes and a small girl, around 3-5 years old in the middle of them, it must be Mitsuki. The woman in the photo takes Reborn's interest. He knows this woman somewhere.
"The tall blonde man is Sakimoto Shoji. He's half Japanese and half Italian. The woman beside him is Sakimoto Tsuki. I don't know a lot about her. All I know she's my mother and she's Italian, even tough her name is Japanese, but I believe her name before Sakimoto Tsuki is Lumina, according my father's notebook." Explain her to her tutor.
Reborn's shock. He knows her for sure. After long time everyone in Giglio Nero Famiglia, including her niece after the death of her older sister, searching for her, he meets his friend's younger sister's daughter and the current boss of Giglio Nero Famiglia's cousin. Reborn remembers the letter which delivers alongside the packet for Mitsuki.
Dear Reborn,
I know you will surprise for this packet. This packet contains something you know for sure. Something which belong to my mother's younger sister. I know she already died, but her daughter still alive. I know she also has the same power like my mother and I and the curse as well. Maybe it's too early to give this to her, but eventually, her time will come to awake that power. Sooner or later.
Finally, he knows the meaning of the letter. Her power was awaken. With means, she becomes "that" and her life will be in grave danger if the certain marshmallow freak (A/N: I.HATE.HIM *pissed tone*) find out about it.
"How were their final moments like?" (A/N: the polite way of asking "how did they die?"). Reborn know this question will make her sad, but he wants to know, since she once tell about herself being an orphan.
Her face turns into a little sad, but without hesitate, she answer it little sad. "They died in an airplane crash, according to the police at that time. And I barely survive from that crash and the result I lost all of my memories, but thanks to my father's notebook he left me, I remember them all." And weak, sad smile appear on Mitsuki's face.
Reborn's pity on Mitsuki's mother, in his heart. Like her older sister, she died faster than anyone else. Like their fate which have a short lifespan. She died, leaving her only daughter alone in this world without knowing her hidden power.
"Mitsuki......"
"Don't worry about that. I'm sad because I'm alone in the world, but now I'm no longer alone. I have Tsuna, Gokudera, Yamamoto, you and everyone. They support me. They help me. They make me feel like a normal girl. They view me as their friend, someone they will protect and love. Maybe it won't feel right, but I'm glad that crash happen. If that crash wasn't happen, my parents will alive, but I won't meet them. They're my true friends, alongside him." Say her proudly and her eyes begin to tears.
"Mitsuki, you're a strong girl, like your mother. I believe your mother will be very proud to you. You're able to leave the past and face the future which almost people can't do that." Then he walk away, out to the room, but stop in the middle.
Lumina, she's lucky to have a daughter like you. Keep that in your heart and don't lose that kind of light, Mitsuki. That Tsuna's lucky to have a guardian like you. Now, rest for today." And he's go out.
"Reborn...." Call Lal in the hallway. Reborn stop in front of Lal.
"So, is true she's one of us?" Ask Lal curious.
"Yes, without doubt. She's also her daughter. Lumina." Reply Reborn.
"But, she don't affect by the Non Tre-Ni-Sette radiation."
"No, she's affect by that. She once told me that she feels heavier than usual when she's outside the base, but it won't kill her because she's not purely like us."
"However, if Byakuran find out about her, he will...."
"He won't find out." Reborn cut her word. "'That thing' still seals perfectly and her past don't say anything about her mother or her aunt. It won't detect by him unless she awake 'it', but she doesn't realize it from now." And she walk away while Lal feel uncomfortable, knowing the Wind Guardian has "this" kind of power
