Quick quick quick design sketch for the 2nd in the star gown line. This one will be out of a silk/cotton (60/40) blend, super light and airy with a light sheen. I love the look (and feel) of 1930's draped evening gowns, so that's what I based this on. And the sash with be boned and super awesome, you'll see! : DRelated content

The red is a gorgeous color and the sash really helps break it up.

Yeah, I've always been too scared to wear red before! Actually the reason I'm deciding to try it is because I have a crimson bath towel and the color seems to work well on me XD

Anyone can pull of red just some shades suit better than others. I can wear dark reds but not lighter shades.
