Yay! Another shot of my Finch (autumn faerie) costume. This time a back view. I really like how my skirt almost seeps into the forest floor in this picture.Photo by my mom.

The back is really pretty too! It looks really soft and flowy ^^ What materials did you use for the skirt?

I used mostly organza (which I burnt and shredded). I used a faux suede (the same as the corset) for the under layer on the skirt.

Oooh, the over-skirt is really something special. I love the color and you've managed to wear a corset-styled garment tastefully, which is much more than I can say for a lot of the people I see wearing them. 
And nice scenery that matches your costume.

We were walking back to the car from a long day at Faire and the path cut through the woods, so I was like 'Ooh, hang on, let's grab a photo!'.

There's a U where the wings meet that sticks into the back of my corset and is tight against my spine. Sometimes hurts if worn for like 10+ hrs., but is otherwise really comfy.

If I get bored this week and try to make a cutesy fairy character, would you mind if I based it off this? SUCH A NEAT DESIGN. I'll totally show you when it's done.
