Can I ask you something, How can you merge the color on photoshop like you paint your artwork gray with shadings and then you add colors from the second layer, how do you do it?

It doesn't look like he does that at all. If anything he just lays a base layer with a pencil and uses a blending tool to make it consistent and then either adds layers with pencil or erases to make the whites, then inks the outline after for that clean look. If he does use photoshop it looks like he would just layer a gray blob and then use pencils to flush it out. But he would have to already know what it was gonna look like first unless he lays a really light pencil sketch outline beforehand.
