Description Well, here it is. My award-winning final project for my digital animation class. I know what you're thinking: "THIS thing got him an award?". I know, I was surprised too. Really surprised actually, because the comittee for the contest I didn't even know I was participating in came into MY classroom DURING class and presented it to me in front of my WHOLE class... I think I would have rather been dead at that point. But the cool thing is that my work will be published in a county-wide calander, I got 25 bucks (that I decided should go towards blank DVD's for the class) and I get bragging rights, for I was one of 16 chosen for this thing in my ENTIRE county. Not that I AM bragging, I just have the option to.

Right then. This was really just something I thought of on the spot. We were given two hours to complete a "City of the Future". Well, what better way to display the future than floating stuff, right? Thanks, Jetsons.

This was done in Bryce 4 on an iMac, 300 mhz (I believe), 256 mb RAM, with a little help from Photoshop 5 (Our class is in desperate need of a grant).

It took me and hour and a half to build and two days to render. The thing's so out of date, it didn't even anti-alias. Bitchin' technology.

Anyways, tell me what you think.

Can I use this for a school project? We're making a magazine, I'm doing the future. I'm asking because I want to do a page and see what different artists think the future will be like! ^^ I give credit for sure though!!!!

This is awesome. That's cool about the award. You deserve it. My favorite part is the glass dome around the city. Very Jetsons. Way to go.

Thank you, Fallen. The glass was my favorite part too. It's the only part that doesn't look completely fake.

Looks a lot like a screenshot from a Maxix game. I always liked that style, so I like yours here too. Kind of has a late 90's video game look.

Matrix, huh? I never really thought of that before. Well, I appreciate it anyhow. As for the 90's video game look, yeah, that's pretty much where I was aiming. I didn't aim too high, given the tools I was provided, but I did my best. Thanks for the comment.

I'm sure you didn't think of it because I meant to type "Maxis" >_>
