Description
this piece was made for AkiComics 's contest,
and it took me me about 7~8 hours
With this one I tried to push myself out of my comfort zone, and oh... it was so out of it.
I did everything I've always been avoiding in this drawing - backgrounds, animals, lightning, full bodies, complicated poses..
But I'm actually happy with the result and I'm proud submitting it!

and be more active in the DA community.
(right now writing this description is one of the "community" things I want to start doing.)

I find that you did a very good job! I really love your usage of the shadows. The building shadow has a good contrast with the rest of the light. I also really like your brush strokes in the piece. I would say all of it is very nice however the perspective is slightly off. But otherwise very good job! But as we all know perspective is really hard! And you pulled it off pretty well! All in all good job and good luck! ♥

This is beautiful! I always loved this kind of art style. The shadows and lighting really adds to the atmosphere of the piece. I'm not really one to talk, but it somehow feels as if the character and cat were just pasted onto the background or something, perhaps it's the shading or the lines? I don't know, maybe it's just me lol. I love her expression btw~ ^^
