This piece is a bit emotional to me because of recent events. The girl the two worlds show the girls past and how horrible it was to her present/future and how great it is. But some of her past is creeping in to her future and she's afraid that it might take over her new future.The mattress actually represents where I was when I experienced this~

I like how even though there are two very distinctly different "moods" conveyed by each side, there is still a certain harmony between the two color palates. It speaks to the fact that they are two worlds of experience both contained within one person.
