Description During the 1930's there were several clashes along the USSR and Chinese and Manchurian borders, the most known worldwide was the "Nomonhan Incident". Air armies were a part of this and before long, Russian parabola wing craft like the Cheranovski-Kalinin 3 were in the hands of the Imperial Army, both downed and disabled examples. Taken to Tokyo University and given as a project to the Mansyu company, the first design to be produced was known as the Ki-199 and was different from the Russian machine in the engine being placed to the rear in the pusher position and the cockpit placed forwards.
This model is made from card stock laminations for the wing and wood for the body and the detail parts.
