Just starting the last of the Farseer books, Fool's Fate. Very sad it's coming to an end. I haven't read fantasy for many years, but a friend's frenzied recommendation got me to try Hobb. So glad I did.
A very wonderful rendering of the Fool. I guess I imagined him/her ( I don't know yet!) a bit less willowy, but I agree 100% with the observer who earlier wrote that you captured the the masculine/feminine aspects of The Fool perfectly. Thanks for adding your vision.

I'm on the last Farseer book, Fool's Fate. I haven't read fantasy for many year. A friend's fervent suggestion to read Hobb was originally met with some skepticism. I'm so glad I read the Assassin's Apprentice, and so sorry it all ends with Fool's Fate.
Your Fool is perfect. I agree 100% with the observer who said you managed to capture the masculine/feminine aspects of the character. I still can't commit to one or the other. I'm looking forward to many answers in this last book.
