i never cared to take these typical "vacationing" shots ... but my mother pleaded ... now i am very glad that i did ... i was living in nova scotia when this picture was taken during a visit of hers ... just before Katlynn was born.Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia, Canada (photo: January 1990)

yes ... lighthouses are really cool ... and often they have soooo much history! ... have you ever been to the west coast? ... i would think that would be a closer visit for you.

we did a family trip out to the west coast but i was very young.
i'd like to go both ways hehe maybe start at one coast and do a road trip to the other (and then be insanely in debt for years hehe)

yes ... travel (especially within our country) is very expensive (makes no sense to me that you can travel around the world cheaper!) ... but i did this when i was about 20 ... took the train out to vancouver ... then the rest was pretty much hitch-hiking around ... been to all the provinces ... now i just need to get to the territories (someday i hope)

yes, i went with my now ex-husband ... it was a wonderful experience ... 4 months altogether.
